EA looks at India for future growth

The Engine Alliance (EA) will be exhibiting at Aero India for the first time with a display of GP7200 hardware. In the midst of a successful flight-test programme with Airbus on the A380 , the Engine Alliance recognises India as a tremendous growth opportunity for the A380, as exemplified by Kingfisher’s order for five of the superjumbo aircraft.

The Engine Alliance parent companies of GE and Pratt & Whitney have long enjoyed a strong presence in India, representing the majority of the installed fleet. The two companies continue to invest in India and rely on India’s growing technical capabilities to support their businesses.
