Privatise non-metro airports fully as well

Small cities are slowly but steadily becoming nerve centres of economic growth. This is true for the aviation sector as well. Aviation has leapfrogged in recent years with double-digit growth rates.

Of course, international airports like Delhi and Mumbai have already been drawing considerable number of incremental passengers. The big story could, however, be that non-metro airports in cities such as Amritsar, Nagpur and Ahmedabad will be in the thick of action in the coming years.
