Airports put on high alert after hijack threat

All airports of the country have been put on high-alert on Wednesday following terrorist threats of plane hijack. Civil Aviation Ministry sounded alert after receiving information from intelligence agencies.

A Civil Aviation Ministry spokesperson said all airports have been on alert for the past four days due to the threat perception.
