Air Force Conducts Precision Firing Air Trial Exercise

According to a Press Trust of India report, the Indian Air Force (IAF) is said to have conducted an air trial with the Pilotless Target Aircraft, Lakshya.

The exercise was conducted to test target location and precision firing by pilots of Jaguar and Mirage 2000 fighter jets of the IAF was conducted over the Bay of Bengal near to Chandipur, about 15 km from Balasore.

Lakshya, The Pilotless Target Aircraft was used as a support system providing the target for the exercise for the Air Force pilots.
