US firm ties up with Nuclear Fuel Complex for uranium supply

American uranium mining major W M Mining has agreed on a contract with India’s Nuclear Fuel Complex to sell 500 metric tonnes of uranium a year and is waiting for the Indo-US civil nuclear deal to go through to execute it.

“Initially the contract has been approved for five years but I am looking for a long-time contract. If it comes through, there would be business of 1.3 million dollars annually with NFC,” M W Mining’s president Wallace M Mays said here today on the sidelines of a Indo-US business meet.
